I hope you are enjoying our last weekend leading up to the holidays!

I have always had many requests for older collections that were no longer available after the shoppe I was in suddenly closed. I’m bringing them back “seasonally” and this week I have two of them…just in time for the Christmas and winter seasons!

Up first, I have brought back my “Winter Garden” Collection…after repackaging it, I realized this too, is one of my favorites! I love everything about it, especially all the gorgeous flowers. 

Secondly, I’ve reissued my “A Star Led the Way” Collection; this one was requested, so that a lovely church could design their Christmas cards…I feel so blessed to be asked to bring this one back. Thank you, you know who you are. 🙂 I’ve also brought back the coordinating Nativity Set that was painted by Barbara’s mama, and I’ve created some stamps to coordinate — these are new!  

The BEST part is that you get either of these large collections for ONLY $5.00! Since I have so many new customers, I hope these are new to you!

Well, of course mother nature decided to throw her first snowstorm at us on the weekend of my son’s wedding. We literally went from 80 degrees…head first into winter! Welcome to New York!

Tomorrow I “hope” to be able to travel to all the wedding festivities. I still have a lot to do, so I will just get right to it this week. 🙂

A Time to Gather + Freebie!

Hi Everyone,

Well, I’ve been busy, busy, but it’s time to catch up some 🙂 I hope you are all off to a great weekend! I don’t know, but the weather here in New York seems to have a  very dark cloud over it, without a break. November is never a nice month, but it’s been this way a long time, and well, I could use some heat and sunshine from the tropics! I hope it’s nice where you are.

Next week, this time, I will be traveling and preparing for my son’s rehearsal dinner, then his wedding on Saturday, the 17th….the time sure has gone by too quickly. We are having the dinner in a wine room at an amazing Italian restaurant..their food is incredible! I have designed all the centerpieces for the tables, a two-sided cafe board, coordinating table numbers and I am putting the finishing touches on the “guest book.”  I’ve done it all from scratch – I’ve made the ball jars to look like mercury glass and the colors of the flowers are so gorgeous for fall…burgundy, fuchsia, blush, gold, rose gold. I’ve also placed battery operated “tea lights” in the bottom of the jars. The chalkboard says, “Choose a seat, not a side, we are all family once the knot is tied.” The other side says, “Tomorrow we do,” so guests will see that as they leave. The guest book is a photo box frame. It will have two photos, one of when they were dating and one for them to fill with their wedding photo. Each guest will sign a wooden heart (edges painted in gold) and drop it in the frame. I’ll gather some photos to share, once things quiet down some around here! LOL Do you do other things besides scrapbooking? I would LOVE to hear your stories…just drop a few thoughts here for everyone to get ideas! What about the holidays? What are your traditions?

As always, by popular request, I have decided to bring back a stunning jewel-toned collection perfect for the start of the holiday season. “A Time to Gather” represents the time of year when we all begin to spend quality time with our friends, family, neighbors.
