Hi Everyone,
Well, I’ve been busy, busy, but it’s time to catch up some 🙂 I hope you are all off to a great weekend! I don’t know, but the weather here in New York seems to have a  very dark cloud over it, without a break. November is never a nice month, but it’s been this way a long time, and well, I could use some heat and sunshine from the tropics! I hope it’s nice where you are.
Next week, this time, I will be traveling and preparing for my son’s rehearsal dinner, then his wedding on Saturday, the 17th….the time sure has gone by too quickly. We are having the dinner in a wine room at an amazing Italian restaurant..their food is incredible! I have designed all the centerpieces for the tables, a two-sided cafe board, coordinating table numbers and I am putting the finishing touches on the “guest book.” Â I’ve done it all from scratch – I’ve made the ball jars to look like mercury glass and the colors of the flowers are so gorgeous for fall…burgundy, fuchsia, blush, gold, rose gold. I’ve also placed battery operated “tea lights” in the bottom of the jars. The chalkboard says, “Choose a seat, not a side, we are all family once the knot is tied.” The other side says, “Tomorrow we do,” so guests will see that as they leave. The guest book is a photo box frame. It will have two photos, one of when they were dating and one for them to fill with their wedding photo. Each guest will sign a wooden heart (edges painted in gold) and drop it in the frame. I’ll gather some photos to share, once things quiet down some around here! LOL Do you do other things besides scrapbooking? I would LOVE to hear your stories…just drop a few thoughts here for everyone to get ideas! What about the holidays? What are your traditions?
